Independence Home Care was founded in 2019 by Farhya Farah, an experienced Nurse Practitioner who has dedicated over eight years to supporting individuals through compassionate healthcare and community services. While balancing the responsibilities of a demanding healthcare career and family life, she recognized the growing need for more personalized, respectful, and participant-focused disability support services within the community.

Motivated by her passion for helping others and her vision to create meaningful change, Farhya established Independence Home Care to provide high-quality, person-centered support that empowers individuals to live independently, confidently, and with dignity.

Her extensive healthcare experience has deeply shaped the values and culture of the organization, instilling a strong focus on compassion, respect, safety, inclusion, and quality care. Under her leadership, Independence Home Care has grown into a trusted NDIS provider committed to supporting participants in achieving their goals and improving their overall well-being.

Today, Farhya continues to lead the organization with dedication and empathy, creating a safe and supportive environment where participants, families, and workers feel valued, heard, and empowered every step of the way.
